2010 World Women’s Championships are over. 131 athletes from 39 countries came to Tlalnepantla city to participate in the Championships. Most of them took part in the Friday excursion to the nearby Tenayuca pyramids and climbed up 365 steps to reac
h the top of the biggest pyramid, called the “Pyramid of the Sun” where they could touch the peak point to get extra positive energy, which could be very useful during the battle on stage. It was a great and very impressive experience.
The first part of the Championships started Friday afternoon with Technical Meeting, followed by the official weigh-in and height measurement. As usual, it took few hours, as each athlete should be measured and registered to produce the official Start List.
